A proactive, goal-oriented senior executive with extensive global financial management and operations experience in both the private and public sectors, as well as skill in directing all aspects of a multi-million-dollar business. He previously served as the Commissioner of Finance in Oyo State, Nigeria, where he led a team of 50 people, including the Director/Accountant General, Heads of Departments, Senior Managers, and Special Advisers, to implement a medium-term Financial strategy for the overall framework of Financial and budgetary management.

 

This resulted in excellent financial reporting, which led to long-term growth in cash flow for recurrent and capital expenditures. He skillfully executed a strict framework for financial forecasting by implementing the Fiscal Responsibility Act, which uncovered new revenue sources and spending drivers while increasing access to the capital market. Prior to this position, he worked for the American multinational firm Procter & Gamble, where he led a cross-functional team responsible for generating and publishing financial statements on a local and global scale utilizing consolidated data input technology.

He was in charge of P&G West Africa’s day-to-day evaluation and implementation of SAP modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Affiliate accounts. After improving the management process, I was promoted to Row leader within two months of project completion.
