Jill Scott Footballer Biography

Jill Louise Scott MBE is a retired professional football player from England who played the position of midfielder during her career. She was born on February 2, 1987.  According to the technical report that FIFA compiled after the 2011 Women’s World Cup, Scott was one of England’s four outstanding players. The report referred to her as “an energetic, ball-winning midfielder who organizes the team well, works hard at both ends of the pitch, and can change her team’s angle of attack.”

The moniker “Crouchy” was given to Scott because of his height of 5 feet 11 inches (1.81 meters), which was modeled after that of male international player Peter Crouch.

Since she joined Everton in 2006, she has played an important role in the club’s success, helping them win the FA Women’s Premier League Cup in 2008 and the FA Women’s Cup in 2010. Sunderland was her hometown team. Individually, the Football Association (FA) Players’ Player of the Year award was given to Scott in 2008, and the FA International Player of the Year award was given to him in 2011.

Jill Scott is married to a woman named Shelly Unitt. Shelly Unitt is probably best known for being the sister of Rachel Unitt, a former player for England. Additionally, she is engaged to the football player Jill Scott.

Shelly is accustomed to spending a lot of time on the road in order to attend her sister’s and future husband’s matches. She mentioned that after the 2019 World Cup she and Jill went on vacation together, and that during their trip she was surprised by the positive response from the public.

Jill’s height is 5 feet 11 inches (1.81 meters), and she got the nickname “Crouchy” after the male international player Peter Crouch, who is 6 feet 5 inches tall. Jill’s height is comparable to Peter Crouch’s height.
