Chris Davidson Surfer Biography

Chris Davidson was an Australian professional surfer who was born in 1976 or 1977 and passed away on September 24, 2022. His place of birth was in Sydney.



Early in his career, Davidson struggled due to injuries, issues with his family, and substance abuse. In the latter part of the 2000s, he started having success again in his career and won multiple events.

In both 2010 and 2011, Davidson was an active participant in the Men’s Championship Tour. His best accomplishment was coming in third place behind Kelly Slater at the Rip Curl Pro Portugal in 2010, and he finished the 2010 world tour ranked 14th overall.


Cause Of Death 

On September 24, 2022, a guy confronted Davidson outside of a tavern in South West Rocks, New South Wales, and struck him. Davidson was knocked down by the punch and slammed the pavement hard with his head after falling to the ground. He was brought to Kempsey Hospital, but he passed away there a short while later after suffering fatal injuries. He had 45 years under his belt. A man in his forties was taken into custody at a house in South West Rocks a little less than two hours later. He was accused of assault that resulted in death, and bail was denied for him.
