Biodun Oyebanji For Ekiti State Governor 2023

Biodun Oyebanji tendered his resignation as state SSG on December 7, 2021, so that he may concentrate his efforts entirely on running for Governor. According to a statement released by Yinka Oyebode, who serves as the Chief Press Secretary for the Governor, the resignation was communicated to the Governor in the form of a letter dated December 3, 2021.

Oyebanji decided to compete for Governor of the state in the next election, which led to his departure from his position as deputy governor. The statement claims that Governor Fayemi praised the former SSG for his exceptional services to the administration from its beginning in 2018 and wished him well in his future pursuits. The statement also claims that the Governor wished him well in his future undertakings.

A few days later, he would travel to Abuja to collect the election nomination, where a few political appointees would join him. During one of his campaign trips, Biodun Oyebanji stated that Governor Fayemi and Niyi Adebayo, the state’s first executive Governor, had provided him with the best pupillage in government and politics so that he could traverse the rocky terrain and deliver.

“If I obtain the governorship ticket and win, I will be the first homeboy to be governor of Ekiti,” he says, referring to the possibility of being the state’s next chief executive. I received all my education in Ekiti, from elementary to secondary, and then I attended university there.

“Niyi Adebayo gave me rigorous training for four years, and then I worked for Governor Fayemi for seven years. Out of the 25 years that have passed since the establishment of this state, I have worked for the government for 11 of those years. To be a good governor, if other candidates approach you, you should inquire where other aspirants acquired their pupilage.

When the state of Ekiti was officially established in 1996, I had just turned 27 years old and was serving as the Secretary of the Committee for the Creation of Our Dear State at the time. Because of this chance, I had a clear understanding of what the vision was at the time.

“I’ll never be an inadvertent governor.” I was familiar with Governor Fayemi’s goals, and if you don’t want everything he’s accomplished for Ekiti to be wasted like it was after 2014, then you should vote for me in this primary election.
