The actor Alec Baldwin, who played Jack Donaghy on the hit TV show ’30 Rock,’ can play serious, funny, and character roles with the same skill. Baldwin had already become a well-known stage actor and tried his hand at movies by the time he was cast in the sitcom. But it was his role as Jack that made him one of the most well-known and loved TV stars. Alec Baldwin was born to Carol Newcomb and Alexander Baldwin. He was the first son they had. His father taught high school, and his mother took care of the house. He has two brothers and three younger brothers.
He went to high school at Alfred G. Berner. Later, he went to George Washington University and then Tisch School of the Arts to study drama. In the end, he was allowed to join the Actors Studio.

Career

In 1980, he made his acting debut on television in the murder-mystery drama The Doctors as Billy Aldrich, a young guy who is murdered by an elderly lady. He continued to appear until the last season in 1982.
In 1984, he made his first appearance as Joshua Rush on the soap opera Knots Landing. After 40 episodes, his character was killed off, and he decided to leave the program.
Alec made his Broadway debut in a 1986 production of the play “Loot,” which was a revival at the time. He was also in a revival of “A Streetcar Named Desire” by Tennessee Williams and other theatre performances.
